Jodhpur, Rajasthan · since 2006

Nine thousand square metres.

We are a factory, not a trading desk. Every stage from rough stock to the packed container happens on one floor at Boranada, and this page is what is on it: the areas, the timeline, the markets, and the paperwork that goes with them.

Every one of the 150+ people here is on our own payroll. Contract labour is how consistency slips between orders.

Order to container

Forty-five to sixty days is the figure we quote, and this is where it goes. Buyers usually see two moments: the sample and the delivery. Here is the middle.

  1. Day 0

    Enquiry and quotation

Specification in, price and lead time out. If a date cannot be held, it is not quoted.

  2. Day 3–10

    Sample or drawing sign-off

One approval sample for a new design or a contract programme. It is retained and becomes the reference for colour and finish.

  3. Week 2

    Timber released

Stock selected against the works order and released from the yard. Certification claims are recorded here, at the stack.

  4. Week 3–5

    Joinery and surface work

Carcasses framed and squared while fronts run in parallel on the carving, parquet and tile benches.

  5. Week 6

    Finishing

Coats and cure times, matched to the retained sample. The one stage that cannot be compressed by adding people.

  6. Week 7

    Inspection and packing

Every unit assembled and checked, then packed with three centimetres of protection per face.

  7. Week 8–9

    Container loaded, documents issued

Loaded by hand to a plan drawn before anything moves. Paperwork is issued against what went in, not what was ordered.

What the floor gives you

  • 01

    One factory, start to finish

Sawing, joinery, carving, finishing and packing all happen under our own roof in Boranada. Nothing is subcontracted, so nothing drifts.

  • 02

    Low minimums, honestly quoted

Mixed containers and small first orders are normal here. We would rather start small and grow than quote a minimum you cannot use.

  • 03

    FSC timber on request

Certified sustainable stock is available across the mango and reclaimed ranges when your market asks for the paperwork.

  • 04

    Private label and custom finishes

Your specification, your finish, your label. Sampling runs before the production floor commits.

  • 05

    Export documentation handled

Nine destination markets and the paperwork that comes with each. Lead times we quote are lead times we hold.

  • 06

    A catalogue that keeps moving

Over 1,000 live designs, with new work added each season from our own drawing floor.

And what we don't do

  • Upholstery. We build frames and casegoods; seating pads and covers are not made here.
  • Flat-pack knock-down engineered for self-assembly retail. Our pieces ship assembled or part-assembled.
  • MDF, particle board or veneered panel construction, in any range, at any price.
  • Container-only minimums. If you need forty pieces rather than four hundred, that is a normal order here.

Lead times we quote are lead times we hold. If a date cannot be met it is not offered. A slipped shipment costs a buyer more than a longer honest one.

FSC certified

We hold chain-of-custody certification and keep certified stock tagged separately in the yard. Ask at the quote stage rather than the shipping stage: it is a sourcing decision, and sourcing happens in week one.

How the claim is kept intact

Certified timber

FSC-certified stock is available across the mango and reclaimed ranges when your market needs the paperwork. The claim and our certificate code travel on the invoice and the packing list.

FSC-C229285

FSC certified, licence code FSC-C229285. Ask for our FSC-certified materials.

Visits are welcome, and so are awkward questions. Boranada is eight hours by road from Mundra and forty minutes from Jodhpur airport.
